Seminars & Camps

Seminars

Schedule your own one, two, or three day seminar by emailing us. We’ll arrange a price, schedule, and cadre of instructors that work for you. In general, attendees should expect costs from $30-100 per family, dependent on the length of the seminar and number of instructors needed.

Camps

We have for two years taught PHC debate camp, seeing a huge spike in the number of people who want to attend. Our 2010 summer-camp dates will be released in the Spring of 2010, so contact us in the Fall to arrange a camp in your area. A facility is key—we bring everything else.

What can you expect at an Ethos camp? Challenging and engaging teaching from some of the nation’s best debaters and coaches. We provide a healthy mix of theory, ethics, practice, logic, and fun. Our teachers focus on showing how theory relates to the real world and want to help you improve as a person, not just a competitor.

Parents say:

"I want to thank you for your work and presentation last Saturday. My daughters (the two girls who had very little idea what they were doing!) and I spent several hours going over the information with my son who could not be there---we can't believe how much we learned. We very much appreciate your time and effort." - MD Conference Parent

Students say:

“All the coaches were really helpful and kept things interesting. I really liked the fact that all the lectures had a focus on communicating to normal people, and not a win-at-all-cost type mentality. You guys seriously owned Blue Book camp.” – Mackenzie, IL

"They weren't too difficult, but they were challenging" – Angela, CA

"The lectures were helpful, but challenging. Learned a lot" – Jordan, MD

“Beats BB camp. Ethos is legit.” – Austin Heath

"This has been a wonderful opportunity to learn how to debate. I was already a second-year debater but this was big help in learning more strategies." – Olivia, VA

“Awesome coaching staff. I went to Blue Book camp last year and this one was much more in-depth. Loved how coaches were eager to help out anytime.” – Thomas
