Ethos debate is excited to announce that this Saturday it will be releasing both its Stoa and NCFCA TP sourcebooks. We have 18 quality briefs in each sourcebook, that are ready for debaters to use. In order for you to see the quality of the sourcebook, we are providing a brief entirely for free! See (here) for Stoa, and (here) for NCFCA.
Ethos Debate has been committed to quality sourcebooks for over a decade now. We have the highest standards for our authors, and this year it gets even better!
What does an Ethos debate sourcebook give me?
Ethos debate briefs provide three key aspects which set it above the competition
- The right amount of evidence. We give each brief enough evidence to make it lethal, but we don’t bog you down with useless pages and pages of evidence just to show how much “research” we did.
- True generics. Ever since we partnered with COG, we have given the debate community true generics. Briefs that can be used in almost any situation, and provide help for those critical rounds when you don’t have a negative against the exact 1AC your opponent is running. Generics provide flexibility and help in every round.
- Uniform standards. Ethos briefs are formatted using our template in accordance with CITE standards (thanks to our longtime formatting guru, Elijah Schow). Our formatting utilizes visual distinction as well as clarity of credentials on every author.
Look for the sourcebook soon! We hope to publish it this weekend! Below is a copy of the Table of Contents for this years sourcebook.
