We’ve previously brought you a lengthier example of how to optimize Firefox for research. Today I just want to supply this quick tip for an add on that is new to me.
Do you ever get annoyed with how your Word documents always mess up when you paste? Yes, you can paste special or click the right buttons after you paste, but sometimes if you forget that step your document is messed up forever.
Auto-copy for Firefox and for Chrome gives you the option to copy the text only and ignore formatting. It also eliminates the pushing ctrl/cmd + c (copy) step of copy/paste because selecting text in the browser automatically copies.
Thanks to Lifehacker for originally pointing out this add on.
