We’re gonna try it! Last year, we ran several webinars ahead of our in-person camp and several said it was the most valuable part of the experience, because there was still time to adapt before nationals. This year, Ethos isn’t visiting Minnesota so we’re going for online-only prep.
Top Coaches: Your coaches have placed in the top 3 of nationals themselves (multiple times in many cases). In addition, Isaiah has coached multiple highschool and college national first place debaters.
What this is NOT: The place where coaches give you all the best arguments they know of. We’ll help everyone process and think, but this camp is all about helping you be the best possible version of your own potential self. “Coaching equals potential minus interference” says international tennis coach Timothy Gallwey.
On Openly Discussing Your Case During Webinars: It’s not required, but highly valuable for you. On the one hand, you could sell a poor mandate, and on the other you could have an untested detail blown out of the water. Many on our staff have won nationals with openly posted 1ACs – the real debate happens later in the round.
Cost: $55
What happened last year: 50% of NCFCA TP Quarterfinalists were Nats Prep Campers, and only 18 total TP debaters came to camp at all.

“It was the primary reason we were able to do so well at Nationals.” ~Micah Bock
“And, the coaches were quite simply inspiring …the camp took my argumentation and in-round analysis to a national finals level. And because of that, I highly recommend it.” ~Billy Bock
