The single best way to improve in speech and debate is through practice. Your average competitor takes the first 2-3 fall tournaments to get that practice and fall into the groove.

Ziggy Debate offers 10 online rounds of Fall practice for committed debaters in NCFCA and Stoa. The way it works is that you sign-up to debate one round a week, you communicate with your opponent and a potential judge to find an appropriate time and then once you find the right time, you debate! All you have to do is pay a small fee and provide a judge who’s available to judge one debate a week. And it works! From 2012-2015 at least one of the NCFCA National Champions was a Ziggy debater.
